Ceres ~ Goddess of the Harvest
Pair of tall antique Victorian stained glass panels, c1870. Each leaded and hand painted depicting the female figures of Iris and Ceres, Roman goddesses, posing with flowing drapery and surrounded by flowers and foliage. Leaded with Antique and Ruby flash etched glass and with the use of enamel and silver stain paints. Both are in excellent condition.
Removed for a Victorian Villa on Malone Road, in the affluent suburb of Malone, Belfast, Northern Ireland, prior to the house being demolished.
