King Solomon & King David
Two large church lancet windows, each leaded with stained hand painted glass.
Left window depicts Solomon in decorative robes, about him are 2 scrolls inscribed “Except the Lord build the house they labour in vain that built it”, above that are the roofs of Jerusalem.
Right window is of King David (Rex) holding a Harp, above are 2 scrolls inscribed “I will extol thee O Lord for thou hast lifted me up and hast my foes over not made to rejoice me” A shield depicts November 11th 1918, the last day of the war, Armistice Day.
Lovely decorative windows with flowers and foliage borders and both in excellent condition. Can be sold separately.
