Original 17th century German leaded stained glass “Marriage” or “Welcome” panel, designed to celebrate a marriage or the return of a Patrician from war. Depicting a Man and Lady set within an architectural stone portico. Hand-painted with the use of silver stain and enamel paints. With slight lead strap restoration, no fading to painting, with lead in excellent original condition. In a later wooden frame and hanging chain attached.
